Our Annual Christmas Bazaar

What an exciting time of year!!
As our Holly Fair Convenors gather to make sure the 2018 edition is the best ever, we ask you to assist by sewing, baking, knitting, gluing, nailing or cooking things to donate.
We ask that donated items be brought to the Church by Friday, November 16th.
Be sure to mark Saturday November 17th on your calendars so that you remember to join us for a great pre-Christmas extravaganza!!

Sunday, November 11– before or after worship – Leave items in room #5 across from the lift (non-perishables)
Monday, November 12 to Thursday, November 14th - 9am – noon 1 - 3pm
Friday the 16th – 9am to 7 pm

WE NEED YOUR HELP!! – Please read over the items below…
Attic Treasures - Lots of jewellery, china, mirrors, wall pictures, craft items and Christmas items needed. No furniture or electronics please.
Bake Shop - Looking for pies, cookies of any kind, cupcakes, fruit loaves, mini loaves, biscuits, cakes, brownies, breads, cinnamon buns, coffee cakes and tarts. Donors: please price your items
Book Store - Books needed (both hard & soft cover), cd's & dvd's. There will be a large display of brand new children's books.
Holly Fair Cafe - Items can be purchased for eat in or take out. Snack and a beverage for a toonie! Take a break and relax with us during your shopping experience.! Sorry no WIFI. Donations of muffins and cookies are also appreciated for our café.
Children's Corner – New or gently used games, toys and stuffed animals in excellent condition, puzzles, barbie dolls, hot wheels (dinky cars), any kind of dolls, gift baskets, individually wrapped kids treats.There will be activities for children including crafts and ice fishing (small fee may apply for activities).
Draw Table & Blind Auction - This area offers a Free Draw and a Blind Auction. Donations of items would be appreciated! We are looking for about 10 main items for the Blind Auction and 6 items for the Free Draw. (a Blind Auction: Cannot see who is bidding or what the bids are)
Crafter's Market - Tree bows, beaded jewelry, Christmas items, stocking stuffers, wreaths, pet gifts, gift baskets, craft kits, gift tags, cards, gift items for teachers, coaches or baby sitters. Fresh wreaths, swags & outdoor greenery arrangements. Ribbon is not needed this year. Quilts, art work, pillows, towels, dishcloths, aprons, wall decor, kitchen items, bathroom items, spa items, house plants, knitted scarves, knitted hangers, garden signs, bath sets, night lights, fridge magnets, lap blankets, garden stones, and cloth shopping bags. Children's mitts, hats, scarves or other children and youth items. Homemade games for kids, wooden toys, novelty purses or pillows, mittens. Any unique items that may apply. Donations of gifts bags in good condition would be appreciated.
Holiday Entertaining - Orange and red pepper jelly, mini quiche, cheese balls, meatballs, ham & cheese dip, apple mincemeat crumble, homemade dipping sauces, mini christmas puddings, stuffing mix, gift baskets, toast rounds. Need freezable hors d'oeurves.
Country Store - We challenge the families again this year to make your favourite casserole and freeze it a week before to be sold at the Bazaar – with a copy of your recipe. It can be individual servings or in one dish. Other items we are wishing for are: chili, baked beans, bean salad, jams, jellies, chili sauce, pickles, relishes, beef stew, macaroni and cheese, lasagna, devilled eggs, antipasta, meatballs, meat pies, cabbage rolls, broccoli salad, turkey casserole, salsa & flavoured nuts. Single serving items are popular.
Fudge, candy sticks, caramel corn, nuts, bark, candy mice, peanut brittle, chocolate covered items, nuts and bolts. Also Novelty candy items. Donors: please price your items.
