When the appliance company delivered my new dryer, 3 great big guys showed up just as I was making lunch, the one fellow commented on how great my kitchen smelled, so when they were done hooking up the dryer I sent them all off with warm bacon and apple sandwiches and drinks -- they were really smiling as they drove off.

34. I told the Tim Horton's drive thru staff to "keep the change" after paying for my order. They asked if I was sure because it was more than $10 and "they don't usually get that much of a tip". I told them they deserved it and I was sure!

32. I helped a lovely elderly lady who was confused, figure out where she was supposed to be for an appointment in the building where I work, I made a couple of phone calls and made sure she got to her appointment. She thanked me with a great big hug!

23. I talked to an older gentleman for almost 5 minutes in the meat aisle at Superstore about how pricey meat was and how he bought a steak last week and it was awful. He told me stories about his grandma eating rump roast and wondered if he could get some.
22. Talked to a lady at Superstore in the check out line about groceries when I told her I would be price matching and hopefully I wouldn’t be too long. We had a good conversation about saving money and she does it too so was totally fine with it. Nice to connect with people who are on the same page as you are.

As soon as he saw me, he said, go ahead of me, you don't have much to checkout and I have a cart full. It made me very happy. (ROAK done FOR a person at First!)
